Church Pew Cushions

My mom was member of a small Church Baptist forever. .. And with restructuring does recently there was the discussion if or not the cushion on the benches of church of church needs to equal the carpeting! Someone say that it has the game, someone say that they mettent't thinks. Is there a right or a bad response?
