Although did Arrived to the Christ of Church Construct?
Church doctrine
We run through it "church" of word 114 times in the New Testament. If that can we learn from the writings of the original church (the church that we read of in the New Testament)? Here the essential elements:
Jesus established the church. (Matthew 16:13-18)
Jesus bought the church with his own blood. (Effective 20:28)
Jesus is the church head. (The epistle to the Ephedsiens 1:22-23) (epistle to the Ephedsiens 5:23)
Jesus is church foundation. (1 Corinthian ones 3:11)
The church was a part of project of eternal God before the creation. (The epistle to the Ephedsiens 3:9-10)
The church goal was at: "To post [God] the wisdom in his rich variety to all the leaders and unnoticed authorities in the celestial places". (The epistle to the Ephedsiens 3:9-10)
The church is not a building but a saved people. "And the Lord added to their number daily those that were saved". (Effective 2:47)
The church is not a name. (1 Corinthian ones 1:12-13)
The Gospel and the teachings of Christ (the church doctrine) are not dependent to change. (Galatians 1:8-11) (2 John 1:9-11)
The biblical names of the church:
the body of Christ (Colossiens 1:24) (epistle to the Ephedsiens 1:22-23)
the church of the living God (1 Timothy 3:15)
the church of God (Effective 20:28) (1 Corinthian ones 1:2) (1 Corinthian ones 10:32) (1 Corinthian ones 11:22) (1 Corinthian ones 15:9) (2 Corinthian ones 1:1) (Galatians 1:13) (1 Timothy 3:5)
the churches of God (1 Corinthian ones 11:16) (1 Thessalonians 2:14) (2 Thessalonians 1:4)
the churches of the saints (1 Corinthian ones 14:33)
the church of the firstborn (Hebrews 12:23)
the churches of Christ (Roman 16:16)
The biblical names for the church members:
The members of Christ (1 Corinthian ones 6:15)
The disciples (Effective 6:1.7) (Effective 11:26)
The swellings (2 Corinthian ones 6:15)
The saints (Effective 9:13) (Roman 1:7) (Philippians 1:1)
The priests (the Revelation 1:6)
The children of God (Galatians 3:26-27) (1 John 3:1-2)
The Christians (Effective 11:26) (Effective 26:28) (1 Peter 4:16)
How to become member of the original church:
Hear the Gospel, "for faith comes while hearing the word of God". (The Roman ones 10:17 NKJV)
Believe in Jesus Christ, "for without faith it is impossible to please God". (Hebrews 11:6); Also to see: (Effective 16:31) (the Roman ones 1:15-17) (1 John 5:1-6)
To regret itself your sins, "for [God] orders to all people everywhere to regret itself". (Effective 17:30); Also to see: (Luke: 15:10) (2 Peter 3:9)
Acknowledge Jesus as the Lord, for it said, "Whoever had me before the men, him I will acknowledge also before my Father that is in the sky". (Matthew 10:32 NKJV) sees Also: (The Roman ones 10:9)
Is baptized for the sin pardon, for Peter said: "To regret itself and to be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the pardon of your sins". (Effective 2:38) Also to see: (To mark 16:16) (the Roman ones 6:3-4)
Church organization:
Elder
Elder (called also presbyters, the bishops, the foremen, the ministers, or the shepherds, without the distinction of office or without the row) were men (always the men) chosen members to oversee and show the example for the congregation. Also they are to encourage the congregation with the solid doctrine and refute those that it oppose. (1 Peter 5:1-4) (1 Titus 1:9) For the conditions for this position sees: 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
Deacons
The deacons were men that are chosen to serve the congregation (neglects the daily distribution of food or the expectation on the tables). (Effective 6:1-7) For the conditions for the deacon and his woman, see: 1 Timothy 3:8-13. Paul mentions also deacons in his address to the church to Philippi. (Philippians 1:1) at least two men, Stephen and Philip, choose as the deacons in the church of Jerusalem preached also or evangelized.
Evangedlisateurs
The edvangedlisateurs (the preachers, the ministers) are preachers of the Gospel. (The epistle to the Ephedsiens 4:11) (1 Timothy 4:13-16) (2 Timothy 4:1-5)
These three positions were the only one a created one for the church of Christ. Notice that no unique person was placed loaded with any congregation. And there was not higher organization than the local congregation. The synodes, the Counsels, the Conventions, the Popes, the Ecclesiastical Legislative Bodies, the Associations or Lectures with the delegates of the different congregations are nullepart to be found in the Bible. They did not exist in the church that you read of in the New Testament.
Church adoration:
On the passed two thousand years, Christian loved God in the various ceremonies and the various rites including: the baptism, To Dine it Lord, fasting, the foot washing, the prayers, reading writings, telling creeds, singing, the miraculous strengths, the prophecies, the cures, and speak in the languages. You can ask which lies behind these traditions. Are they simply customs of the church? Or is there something more to him?
We to allow beginning with a church definition. Our "church" English of word is based on the "ekklesia" of Greek word that means an assembly. Sometimes it "church" refers itself to a local congregation; to the other times that the word is used in a universal direction including all swellings in Christ. Christ is the principal angular rock (epistle to the Ephedsiens 2:20), foundation (1 Corinthian ones 3:11), and the church head. (The epistle to the Ephedsiens 1:22-23) (epistle to the Ephedsiens 5:23)
But Jesus had himself very small to say church. In the Brand, Luke and John, Jesus never pronounces it "church" of word. Matthew, and Matthew, we give alone our only one two quotations. In a passage, Jesus says that the church should resolve disputes between its members. (Matthew 18:15-17) In the other reference, Jesus says: "I will construct my church and the hell portals will not prevail against him". (Matthew 16:18)
The exterior one of Revelation, these are the only one two examples where Jesus refers himself directly to his church. Even then, it introduced the two sacrements of the church -- the baptism and To Dine it Lord.
Baptism
We mentioned it before, but it carries to repeat. The revived Jesus ordered its apostles to do the disciples in every nation "the baptizing in the name of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit". (Matthew 28:19)
Jesus says that the baptism is essential for the good day. (To mark 16:16) And Peter says that it is demanded for the sin pardon. (Effective 2:38)
The book of Acts reports a good party of that we know history of the first church. Here we find a sermon collection, the teachings, and the baptisms. Who was baptized? Simon the sorcerer (Effective 8:13), the eunuch edthiopien (Effective 8:38), Saul, that was called later Paul (Effective 9:18), Lydia, a merchant in purple fabric (Effective 16:14-15), the jailer of Philippian (Effective 16:33), Crispus, the synagogue leader (Effective 18:8) (1 Corinthian ones 1:14), twelve disciples to Ephesus (Effective 19:1-5), and men and the women to the city in Samaria. (Effective 8:5-12)
What all these people did they have in common? They believed all of the adults. Were the children they also baptized? Some complaint there was, and they quote these passages to support their position. The acts 16:15 states that "[Lydia] and members of his household were baptized". The acts 16:33 reads: "[the jailer] And all his family was baptized". And Effective 18:8 says that Crispus and "his entire household" were baptized.
The question is: Does "the members of his household," "all his family," and "his entire household" implies that the children and the babies also were baptized? Probably not. Notice that the jailer "and his entire family" had come to believe in God. (Effective 16:34) all the same, Crispus "and his entire household believed in the Lord". (Effective 18:8)
In the two examples, all swelling, and all were baptized. Clearly we do not speak any babies or of very small children in this context. Those that were baptized were rather ripe to believe in Christ.
How did those believe-here of the "adults" baptized? The Roman ones 6:3-4 talks about baptism as a symbolic burial with Christ. And in Acts 8:38 Philip took the eunuch edthiopien "down below in water" to baptize it. The baptism was and is emersion. Through the first baptism of century and through emersion were synonymous.
Dine lord; THE Eucharist; The Holy Communion
In Matthew that we read: "While they ate, Jesus took bread, gave thank you and broke it, and gave it to its disciples saying, 'To Take and eat; this is my body'.
"Then it took the cup, gave thank you and offered it the saying, 'the Drink of him, you all. This is my alliance blood, that is poured for a lot for the sin pardon." (Matthew 26:26-28)
In the Gospel according to John, the meaning of this act clarifyes itself. Jesus: "I am the living bread that brought down of the sky. So does not import that eats of this bread, it will live for always. This bread is my flesh, that I will give for world life". (John 6:51)
It repeated and underlined its words: "Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you has not any life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drunk my blood has eternal life, and I will raise it to the last day". (John 6:53-54)
Paul, in his first letter to the Corinthian ones, explained where this custom has originated. It says: "The tradition that I transmitted on to came you from the Lord himself: that on the night of his taken one the Jesus of Lord took bread and after giving thanks to God broke it and said: 'This is my body, that is for you; do this in the memory of me'.
In the same manner it took the cup after dining it, and said: 'This cup is the new alliance sealed by my blood. When you drink it, do this in the memory of me'. For every time eat you this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord, until it comes'." (1 Corinthian ones 11:23-26 REB)
Paul informs us that the first church continued this tradition and we says when they did it. "On the first day of the week came us together to break bread. Paul spoke with the people and, because it wanted to leave the next day, kept on the conversation to the midnight". (Effective 20:7)
The apostle speaks again of the Soup of the Lord when it warned the Corinthian ones: "A man must examine himself before it eats bread and of drinks of the cup. For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks the judgement on itself". (1 Corinthian ones 11:28-29)
Such respected historians as Eusebius of Caesarea and Johann August Wilhelm Neander says us that Christian in the first centuries of the church took To Dine it Lord all the Sundays.
Fasting
Jesus to John the disciples of Baptist: "How can invited them young bride carry the mourning while it is with them? The time will come when the young bride will be taken of them; then they will do quickly". (Matthew 9:15)
And Jesus distributed instructions on fasting. Do not put a spectacle when you like quickly it that the hypocrites do. Leave your fasting is a secret between you and God. It knows, and it will reward you. (Matthew 6:16-18)
Luke talks about the church of Antioch loving the Lord and fasting. "While they loved the Lord and fasting, Holy Spirit said, 'To Regulate to leaves for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I called them'." (Effective 13:2) In the next chapter that we read, "Paul and Barnabas named elder in every church [in Lystra, Iconium and Antioch] and, with the prayer and fasting, the clerks to the Lord". (Effective 14:23)
We do not find any order in the New Testament to quickly. Nevertheless, in Acts chapters 13 and 14 discover us examples in which these the first church did quickly.
Pay the Washing
"[Jesus] Got up of the meal, has left his exterior clothing, and packed a briefcase around his size. After that, it poured water in a pool and began washing the feet of its disciples, the drying with the briefcase that was packed around him". (John 13:4-5)
"When it had finished the washing of their feet, it put its clothing and returned to his place. 'Do you understand that I did for you'? it asked them. 'You call me "Professor" and "the Lord," and correctly then, for that is that I am. Now that I, your Lord and the Professor, am washed your feet, you should wash also the one the other the feet. I regulated you an example that you should do as I did for you". (John 13:12-15)
"The washing of the feet of the saints" is also one of good lists of Paul of qualifications of action for the widows looking for the church support. (1 Timothy 5:9-10)
Even then, the feet of washing nullepart are declared a part of the service of adoration of the church.
Prayer
The prayer is our manner to communicate with God. Jesus offers us an example. "Our Father in the sky, revered to be your name, your kingdom came, your will be done on the earth as the this is in the sky. We to give today our daily bread. We to forgive our debts, as forgave us also our debtors. And do not take us in the temptation, but we to deliver evil the one". (Matthew 6:9-13)
Notice that the please Lord is simple, short, and to the point. It asks the daily assistance, the direction, and the pardon.
It says us to pray for those that persecutes us; (Matthew 5:44) taken to God some deprived, not to do a spectacle of him; and not to chatter on. God already knows that you need. It is not impressed by the length of your prayer. (Matthew 6:5-8)
If we which are to pray? Paul says us to give thank you in all circumstances; (1 Thessalonians 5:18) for the assistance of God; (1 Timothy 5:5) for every other; (James 5:16) for although we want to ask; (Philippians 4:6) for the leaders, the officers, and everyone. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
James says that we do not obtain that we want because we do not pray for him. Or if we pray for him, our request is denied because of our bad motives. (James 4:2-3) Pray when you are sick or in boredom, counsels James. (James 5:14)
The prayer was a part of the New adoration of the church of Will. (Effective 2:42) (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
Give
Paul says us taken collection for the people of God in the Galatian and the Corinthian churches. "On the first day of every week, every one should put you aside a money sum related to his income, the placement aside, for that when I did not come from collection will must are done". (1 Corinthian ones 16:2)
Reading Ecritures
By the first party of the first century, Jews had established the tradition of reading of the Law and Prophets in their synagogue services. Paul said Timothy to devote itself to the "the reading of public of writings, preaching and teaching". (1 Timothy 4:13) Thus the Jewish custom was done to cross in church adoration.
In the Colossiens let us find us Paul instructing the Colossiens and the Laodiceans to exchange letters it had written and read the two. (The Colossiens 4:16) And in Thessalonians, it says the church to read his letter to all the brothers. (1 Thessalonians 5:27) of this manner, which was to become portions of the New Testament were already read the church with the Law and Prophets of the Old Testament.
Tell Creeds
A creed is a compact declaration of faith told by the congregation during the adoration service. The creeds are nullepart nevertheless to be found in the New Testament. The not common human creed, no catechism, no faith confession is authorized in the writings. They all were added later.
The it is true, the please the Lord frequently is quoted word to word. Did Jesus want for this prayer to become a creed? Evidemment, it did not do. Jesus introduced his prayer word, "To Pray, then, of this manner". (Matthew 6:9 NRSV) That seems a lot as the general direction - "the Fact in this method" instead of, "I want to repeat you every word of this word to word".
Sing
Here the whole New Testament addresses to the hymns, to the songs, and to the witty songs.
After Jesus and the meal of Jewish Pacque of apostles, "they had sung a hymn, they took out to the Mount of Olives". (Matthew 26:30 NKJV)
"Of Paul of midnight and of Silas prayed and sang hymns to God, and the other prisoners listened them". (Effective 16:25)
Paul: "To speak itself with the psaumes, the hymns and the witty songs. Sing and do the music in your heart to the Lord". (The epistle to the Ephedsiens 5:19)
Paul: "I will sing with my spirit, but I will sing also with my spirit". (1 Corinthian ones 14:15)
Paul: "Which does then we say, the brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or an instruction word, a revelation, a language or an interpretation". (1 Corinthian ones 14:26)
Paul encourages us to: "To warn the one the other with all wisdom, and as you sing psaumes, the hymns and the witty songs with the gratitude in your hearts to God". (The Colossiens 3:16)
James: "Is any one of you in boredom? It should pray. Do not import that is happy? Him to allow singing songs of praise". (James 5:13)
Notice musical instruments, the choirs, and the solos was not mentioned in church adoration. As the human creeds, they were later additions not authorized by the writings. Historically, the first appearance of instrumental music in church adoration was not until the sixth century ap. J. -C., and it widely was not accepted until the eighth century. A number of religious leaders including: John Calvin, John Wesley, and Charles Spurgeon strongly opposed the usage of instrumental music in the adoration because of his absence in the New Testament.
The miraculous Strengths, the Prophecies, the Cures, Speaking in the Languages
Jesus has miracle predformed; the apostles have miracle predformed; the members of the first church executed miracles.
In 1 Corinthian, Paul enumerates nine witty gifts of the small church: "To the one there is given by the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of cure by this a Spirit, to another be able miraculous, to another prophecy, to another to distinguish between the spirits, to another to speak in the different types of languages, Another the interpretation of languages". (1 Corinthian ones 12:8-10)
Which was the goal of these miracles? Jesus confirmed his divinity with its miracles. When John "heard in prison that Christ did, it sent its disciples to ask it, 'you Are the the one that was to come, or we should foresee someone of other'?
"Jesus replied, 'To Return and are under the authority of John that you hear and sees: The shutter receives the view, the lame walk, those that have the lašpre are healed, the deaf one to hear, the death student, and the new good ones are preached to the poor ones'." (Matthew 11:2-5)
Same manner, Jesus gave its apostles that the strength to execute miracles to confirm their message. "In my name they will hunt demons; they will speak in the new languages; they will take snakes with their hands; and when they drink mortal poison, it will not injure them to all; they will place their hands on the sick people, and they will obtain well".
"After the Jesus of Lord had spoken to them, it was taken in the sky and it sat to the right of God. Then the disciples took out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that it accompanied". (To mark 16:17-20)
These gifts to the first lists of Paul of church: wisdom, the knowledge, faith, healing miracles, the prophecy, discerning spirits, the languages and the different interpretations of languages were all necessary one for the revelation and the confirmation of the message of verbal gospel. When the gospel was completely revealed and was confirmed, the goal for the miracles, the languages, the cures, and the prophecies stopped.
In 1 Corinthian, Paul furnishes us with this explanation: "As for the prophecies, they will pass far; as for the languages, they will stop; according to the knowledge, it will pass far. For know us in left and we prophesy in left, but when the perfect one comes, the partial pass far". (1 Corinthian ones 13:8-10)
In the original Greek, "to perfect" in this "fullness" of means of towards or the "accomplishment". Then, these miraculous gifts finished in the first church when the revelation of word of God was complete or filled. That is why you do not see authentic miraculous events in the churches today.
To allow me to conclude that this section of adoration of church while mentioning three practices found in some modern churches that are nullepart to be found in the first church: to change calls, the defenses "just to accept Jesus in your heart," and repeating "the please the sinner". Those are all traditions made by the man, done not support by the writings.
The questions To Consider:
1. Since Jesus established his church, and the New Testament describes his church, do you think that the this could be a good idea to follow the biblical example: in the church name? in what we call our church members? in the conditions to enter the church? in the church organization? in the doctrine? in church adoration? in the baptism? in To Dine it Lord? The prayer? in the writing reading? in to preach? in to sing?
2. Why done Luke, Paul, Peter, James, and John furnishes us with such vast details of the original church, themselves they did not want to follow us this model?
The quotation of the Day: "Christian ideal was not tried and was found to want; it was found difficult and not left tried". G. K. Chesterton (1874 -1936) the English author
